Rave in the Cave Story Quest Steps:
Step 1: Power Up the Stage

- Objective: Find and activate the power switch to illuminate the cave and bring the stage to life.
- Hints: Clues in neon signs around the map indicate the direction to the power source.
Step 2: Gather Concert Essentials
- Objective: Collect concert items hidden throughout the map to prepare for the big event. These include:
- Bucket of Glow Sticks: Found on the beach and around the VIP Lounge.

- DJ Record: Hidden in the backstage area of the stage.

- Stage Lights: Located in a locked section of the cliffside path, requiring a key.

- Gameplay: Each item collected can trigger a mini-wave of zombies, soul chest, or timer survival.
Step 3: Set the Stage
- Objective: Place the collected items on designated spots around the stage to set up for the concert.
- Gameplay: Once placed, this step activates a light show and a short burst of music, attracting a zombie rush that players must survive.
Step 4: Activate the DJ Booth
- Objective: Interact with the DJ booth to start the sound system and activate the next phase.
- Gameplay: Players must defend the DJ booth from incoming zombies while the setup completes. This phase lasts for a few minutes and features progressively stronger waves.
Step 5: The Rave’s Key

- Objective: Find and assemble a unique key made of neon pieces that are scattered around the hidden tunnels and cliffside paths. These neon pieces are:
- Neon Shard 1: Near the beach huts.
- Neon Shard 2: In the hidden underground tunnel leading to the offshore island.
- Neon Shard 3: On top of the VIP Lounge area, requiring strategic climbing.
- Gameplay: Each shard is guarded by special zombies that are tougher and emit a glow when approaching.
Step 6: Initiate the Rave Event

- Objective: Insert the completed neon key into the control panel at the stage to start the full rave event.
- Gameplay: This triggers a spectacular light and sound show, with a timed sequence where players must survive multiple zombie waves with amplified difficulty. Special effects like fire and lasers play during this phase.
Step 7: The Proposal Activation
- Objective: Players must stand on marked circles around the stage to power up the final moment. All players need to be in place for the countdown to begin.
- Gameplay: During the countdown, zombies swarm the area, and players must fend them off on the stage.
Step 8: Boss Fight?
Potential Boss Fight? No clue what you’d have in mind.
Step 9: The Grand Reveal with the Gigantic Monkey Bomb

- Objective: Once the players have survived the countdown and stood on their marked spots, the stage’s special effects trigger, and a giant Monkey Bomb descends from the ceiling or rises out of the ocean on a hidden rig.
- Appearance: The Monkey Bomb should be designed with festive lights, a bowtie, and a cheeky smile, fitting the rave theme. It plays upbeat, playful music as it drops.
- Gameplay Mechanic:
- Zombie Behavior: All zombies stop attacking the players and turn their attention to the giant Monkey Bomb, dancing and swaying to the music.
- Player Mode: Players are granted god mode during this sequence, ensuring no damage is taken so you can safely execute the proposal.
- Proposal Setup:
- While the Monkey Bomb is active, the lights dim slightly, and spotlights focus on the stage.
- A short countdown plays, leading up to a moment when the Monkey Bomb triggers a light show and the words “Will You Marry Me?” & then “Turn Around” appear so I can get in position to propose with the Monkey Bomb & Mystery Box Ring Holder.
How It Plays Out:
- Monkey Bomb Timer: The bomb plays music for about 1-2 minutes, giving you time to get behind your girlfriend, kneel, and make the proposal.
- Music and Voice Lines: The background music shifts to a romantic or significant song. Custom voice lines could include the Monkey Bomb making celebratory sounds or characters in the game commenting in surprise and joy.
- Visual Effects:
- Fireworks shoot out from hidden areas on the stage, illuminating the cave.
- Confetti cannons release from the sides of the stage, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere.
After the Proposal:
- Celebration Phase: The Monkey Bomb completes its sequence with a final playful chime, and zombies continue to remain passive for a few more moments, allowing for hugs, cheers, and photos in real life.
- Gameplay Resumption: Once the celebration is over, players can choose to interact with the Monkey Bomb to end the passive mode and resume the game, transitioning back to regular gameplay or end the match.
